Air reconnaissance in AC 72, AB 29, 73 and 89, no contact with convoy.  Passing of convoy at Bären Island early is possible.  Boats probably reached deployment in patrol line too late due to heavy day air.  U-312 reported yesterday morning on 26 March at 07.00 hours in AB 6376 hearing search group on westerly course, (report probably due to strong radio interference was not sent earlier).  U-363 and U-711 on 27 March at 16.00 hours from AB 6730 heard several detonations to the SW, long range.  Intention:  No further pursuit to the west, return transit today.
